Measurable Organizational Value (MOV)
The overall goal of this project is to create a functioning website that customers can book a guide trip and can view the services that the guide service provides and will also play streaming video of previous trips and post them to YouTube.
The elements that provide value to the guide service is the website itself and we can measure its value based on how many YouTube views that the videos receive.
The cost is very cheap compared to the estimated benefit. Right now the guide service is reaching people through word of mouth and once the website is launched the guide service potentially can reach millions of people. It is expected that the launch of the website will increase revenue 10-12% each month for the first 6 months.
The project will be done using a Yahoo webpage template at only ten dollars per month and Nicholas Kanemoto will be doing the designing and implementation.
